From Your Shopify Store
When you install Parcel Plus, we collect:
- Order Information: Order numbers, tracking numbers, delivery status, customer names, and shipping addresses within Pakistan
- Customer Contact Details: Pakistani phone numbers for WhatsApp communication
- Store Information: Store name, domain, and contact information
From Pakistani Courier Services
- Delivery status updates from local 3PL providers (such as TCS, Leopards, M&P, PostEx, Trax, etc.)
- Tracking information by scraping courier websites
- Delivery attempt records and timestamps
- Failed delivery notifications
From Customer Interactions
- WhatsApp poll responses about delivery attempts
- Customer verification of delivery issues
- Preferences for delivery reattempts or cancellations
- Communication history with timestamps
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Automatically track orders with Pakistani courier services
- Detect fake or failed delivery attempts
- Send WhatsApp notifications and interactive polls to customers

WhatsApp Communication
By using Parcel Plus, you authorize us to send WhatsApp messages to your customers on your behalf. You are responsible for:

- Informing customers in your own privacy policy about automated delivery tracking
- Complying with WhatsApp Business Terms of Service
Data Sharing
We share data with:
- WhatsApp Business API providers to send messages to your customers
- Pakistani courier services whose tracking pages we access to monitor deliveries
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) for secure cloud hosting and data storage
We do not sell your data to third parties. We only share information necessary to provide our delivery tracking and verification services.
Data Storage and Security
- Your data is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) EC2 servers
- We use encryption to protect data transmission

- Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel only

Data Retention

- While Parcel Plus is installed on your Shopify store

- For up to 30 days after you uninstall the app
After uninstallation, we will delete your data within 30 days unless required by law to retain it longer.

Customer Privacy
For customers receiving WhatsApp messages from Parcel Plus:
- Messages are sent only regarding your active orders
- You can stop receiving messages by responding "STOP" or contacting the merchant
- Your information is used only for delivery verification purposes
- We do not share your information with parties unrelated to your order delivery
Compliance with Pakistani Laws
We operate in compliance with:
- Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016
- Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) regulations
- Shopify's terms of service and data protection requirements
